I was informed this afternoon that my projects always take longer then i think they will. conceptually they should all be quick easy projects.. The basic idea is that instead of burying posts in the ground, as most fences do, you make a pallet fence that stands upright by design by attaching pallets together in an hhhhh pattern. so i tried it out right away. i was even able to track down some long pallets so that fewer support pallets were needed.. All you have to do is to decide where you need the fence, acquire some wooden pallets, nail them up around the yard and give it a simple whitewash. to make it look more pleasing, you could decorate the space around with some plants, and maybe even a small table with a couple of chairs to spend some time during the evenings..
There are a lot of websites online which can get you the guidelines step by step with the images to help you make the pallet fence. the pallet fence looks beautiful by covering the garden. you can make a door beside the pallet fence to get through the garden for gardening.. You can see the zigzag pattern with a fiberglass post every other pallet. because this was built on a hill, the fence isnt perfectly straight. i had to work with the lay of the land and situate the pallets where they stood more securely.. Drill the following pallets to the previous. do the same on the opposite side. if you do not have a wall to fix it on, then find a log that you can put down in the ground to fix it to. on the pallet you will use for a gate place some strong hinges and a lock on the other side..
