Hi all, i am wanting a few pointers on building a 5m x 2.5m x 3m outdoor shed i would like to build it on my back garden, how deep would the concrete base need to be?. Hello based on your description i can only advise you that " breeze block " is the cheapest , but on some occasions breeze block is not suitable and then you will need to use " concrete blocks " and the concrete blocks can in some cases be just as expensive as ordinary bricks after you take into consideration of the rendering hope this helps you in some way :). I currently have a 4m * 3m breeze shed at the bottom of the garden but want to replace it with one that is the full width of the garden (again in breeze block). the concrete base of the existing shed has cracked in half and i don't want the new one to do the same..
Hi, i plan to build a small shed in my garden just to store things like lawnmowers, shears and fishing gear in. i plan to build it using just the 4 inch lightweight breeze blocks as i have before, along with a flat sloping roof.. A good quality custom made garden shed, insulated inside should do the job and would be cheaper than building something... i had a shed built years ago at a previous house i lived in, when i approached the company they pointed out they don't make sheds, they make portable buildings, and boy they were right.. I would like to have a breeze block room built at the bottom of my garden to be used as a gym and also office. it will be flat roof, 2.5m high and either 1) 5m wide x 6m long, with a partition so we can use 1/3 as storage or 2) 3.5m wide x 6m long office, and a storage lean-to built next to it..
